Wildlife traffic repression

  • Intelligence services
  • Field actions with police forces

Over the years since 1990 countless undercover investigations conducted by SOS FAUNA members have unveiled places and individuals involved in wildlife trafficking. Complaints filed anonymously, however very rare, also play an important role in this work.

Evidences lead to a close work with local authorities to perform a joint operation, SOS FAUNA assuming the proper transport and veterinary care to the animals immediately after confiscation.

RESCUED WILDLIFE

Here hundreds and sometimes thousands of lives are rescued from the hands of unscrupulous dealers who clearly place nothing but a commercial value on their animals.

SOS FAUNA has a vast record of documented confiscations. We have selected some pictures that show the plight of these animals and highlight the urge for increased efforts to stop these criminal activities.
