WILDLIFE TRAFFIC - Consumers

  • In Brazil

Unfortunately wildlife can be bought easily in a variety of places, such as open markets (trade places for all kinds of merchandise; see pictures), pet shops and animal food stores, online retailers and from door-to-door or so called 'bag' sellers.

THE END CONSUMER

Buyers of wildlife are categorized by their economic situation. The most captured animals have a low commercial value and are destined for the lower social classes. More expensive animals are meant for consumers with higher buying power.
