What do you know about
WILDLIFE TRAFFIC in BRAZIL?

Over the past decades an alarming number of smuggled animals have made their way out of our woods to be illegally traded.

However, the magnitude of this criminal enterprise does not seem to raise concerns about the environmental damages it causes to a country that is home to some of the world’s most vital ecosystems. SOS FAUNA strives to change this reality.

We believe raising awareness of the problem is part of the solution. With real information at hand people will be in a position to take action.

For those who wish to learn more about our fauna and about wildlife trafficking in Brazil, we hope this website will be a useful resource for detailed information.

If you wish to collaborate in protecting our wildlife, please let us know: we are calling for support from allover the world.

Field work

Rescue wildlife from illegal trade is not enough. Rehabilitate these animals to release them to their habitats is what we aim at building Wildlife Holding Facilities for confiscated fauna, an ambitious program launched by SOS FAUNA in the state of São Paulo to be followed by similar units in other states.
